Why Does Beehive Beauties Charge Such A Small Entry Fee?
Listen, We've seen how much other pageants can cost! Entry Fee's From $150 up to $450! We are aware that you are a parent and that a pageant should be something that is fun for family, not something that drains your bank account. That's why we are very conservative with all of our expenses, to try to give you, the parent, the lowest entry fee possible. And unlike most other pageants, we do not require a specific dress, all in an effort to help YOU!
Why Does Beehive Beauties Not Allow Makeup?
At Beehive Beauties we believe there is a time for makeup in every girls life, but that time is not at 6 years old. In an effort to try to help slow the way younger and younger girls are beginning to dress and act, we feel that by not allowing makeup, we are saying that it's OK to just be yourself. We are trying to promote modesty among today's younger generation.
How Does The Judging Work?
All of our judges are qualified volunteers, who for the most part, have either: participated in pageants or have worked in pageants. We value our judges very much. They are given very clear instructions on what to judge the contestant on. They show no favoritism and their decisions are final. We (Beehive Beauties) have no say in who the judges pick. That is their job and a hard job at that.
I've seen a lot of new pageants popping up around Utah, are they legitimate or fly-by-night operations?
Well, it's hard to say for sure if any of these pageants are truly legitimate, but you can look at their track record. Have they had a pageant before? Do they have any credentials? Do they have any Original photos or are all their photos "STOCK" photos? BUT if you want a truly, unique, legitimate way of competing in a pageant, we offer that experience hands down! We were profiled on Fox 13 news twice AND appeared in The Standard Examiner. What Does Your Slogan "More Than Just A Beauty Pageant" Mean?
We are on a new mission to move past just having contestants meet on the day of the pageant. We are trying to help connect the girls that attend our pageants to each other, in a way similar to the scouts. We are working on making the experience more about connecting with friends BETWEEN pageants. We care about all these girls and are working hard on coming up with new ways to bring them together!

Who Owns Beehive Beauties?
Beehive Beauties is owned by Lacy Havea and her husband Nick Havea. Lacy is a life long resident of the Beehive State. Her husband is not a life long resident he grew up in California (boooooo, just kidding hehehe).
They have 4 children.
Lacy is very excited to share this fun experience with you and your girls.
How To Be A Sponsor?
Easy! We are always looking for sponsors to help support our cause, especially local businesses! We appreciate how hard local businesses work and want to help get their name and product out to as many people as possible, so we can keep the Beehive State Buzzin!

What is Beehive Beauties Exactly?
What is Beehive Beauties Exactly? We are an all natural beauty
pageant company for girls ages newborn up to 13 years old. I started
this company right here in Utah and named it after the Great Beehive
State itself. Its creation was based on the idea that all of Gods
children are beautiful just the way God made them. At a time when our
young girls are bombarded with Adult imagery and constant peer pressure
to grow up to fast, Beehive Beauties decided to take a stand and let the
daughters of Utah know, that they are special just the way they are. We
wanted to let them know, its okay not to wear make up yet, its okay to
just be a kid, for they will have lots of time to be all grown up…when
they GROW UP! But for now they should just have fun being a kid! So, in
essence, Beehive Beauties was created to celebrate the uniqueness of our
wonderful daughters and to proclaim that they need not follow in
anyone’s path, but instead forge their own. We sincerely hope that this
declaration of love and unwavering support will help mold our little
girls into the next generation of Beehive Beauties!
